The Community Research and Development Information Service (CORDIS), managed by the Publications Office of the European Union, has been the European Commission’s primary source of results from projects funded by the EU’s framework programmes for research and innovation (FP1 to Horizon 2020) since 1990. Its mission is to bring research results to professionals in the field, to foster open science, create innovative products and services and stimulate growth across Europe. A little known fact is that CORDIS was the EU’s first permanent website in 1994.
In addition to a rich and structured public repository with information on all the projects held by the European Commission, CORDIS also produces its own range of value-added publications and articles. The print editions are available in English, while the web content, such as news, events, Research*eu magazines, “Results in Brief” and targeted thematic “Results Packs” have been translated into French, German, Italian, Polish and Spanish by Translavic since February 2018.
We are very pleased to be a part of this compelling and inspiring project, involving the results of the research projects that can be applied in domains such as health, industrial technologies, climate change and environment, digital economy, energy, fundamental research, society, food and natural resources, transport and mobility, security and space. Partnership, flexibility, as well as our team of dedicated linguists with outstanding expertise in the various scientific fields are the key components of our success in ensuring impeccable quality of the content published daily.
