History

  • Translavic was founded in 2004, specialising in Eastern European languages.
  • In 2007, Translavic became the first Dutch translation agency to be certified according to the EN 15038 standard for translation services.
  • In 2008, Translavic opened an office in Poland.
  • In 2009, Translavic won an EC framework contract requiring the translation of data for Agriculture, Fisheries, Environment and Natural Sciences.
  • Since 2010, Translavic has been a reliable partner for translations into all European languages.
  • In 2015 Translavic obtained the certificate in accordance with the international standard for translation services, ISO 17100.
  • In 2017, Translavic signed a framework contract with the Publications Office of the European Union for the provision of translation and revision services to the European Community Research and Development Information Service (CORDIS).
  • In 2019, Translavic was certified for the international standard for post-editing of machine translation output, ISO 18587.
