Translavic was founded in 2004, specialising in Eastern European languages.
In 2007, Translavic became the first Dutch translation agency to be certified according to the EN 15038 standard for translation services.
In 2008, Translavic opened an office in Poland.
In 2009, Translavic won an EC framework contract requiring the translation of data for Agriculture, Fisheries, Environment and Natural Sciences.
Since 2010, Translavic has been a reliable partner for translations into all European languages.
In 2015 Translavic obtained the certificate in accordance with the international standard for translation services, ISO 17100.
In 2017, Translavic signed a framework contract with the Publications Office of the European Union for the provision of translation and revision services to the European Community Research and Development Information Service (CORDIS).
In 2019, Translavic was certified for the international standard for post-editing of machine translation output, ISO 18587.
