12 contestants! 9 judges! And the winner is… Véronique!

Translavic elected the Translator of the Year 2016 from among 12 Translators of the Month of the past year. Translavic’s project managers were unanimous in their votes: French translator Véronique was crowned the favourite linguist of 2016. And it is a title well-deserved. Véronique has been cooperating with Translavic since 2015 on various English into French projects, mostly EU-related publications. From the start, she proved herself as a trustworthy and reliable partner, ready to take up any challenge, be it a legal text or a more creative translation of social media messages. The list of projects she handled for us is almost inexhaustible, and we cannot wait to work with her again on new translations.

The title did not come without perks. The grand prize was a gift voucher for an online bookshop. Learning about her win, Veronique thanked us saying: “I am very happy and proud to see my work recognized. I am all the more motivated to keep it that way!” Working with motivated translators is a huge motivation boost for every project manager so we will make sure to keep Véronique busy!
