Translator of the Year 2015: Magdalena

“An absolute star to work with”. That is how our project managers sum up our Polish translator, Magdalena. She joined our team as a fresh faced graduate and under the supervision of our experienced revisers and project managers she quickly grew to become a top translator in her language pair Dutch-Polish. Her work is always on time; she is a good communicator and works well in collaborative projects; she shows great skill and ability in translating the meaning in the Dutch source texts into easy to read Polish text. A classic text book example of the win-win situation possible when young talent is offered the opportunity to work under expert supervision when taking those first tenuous steps onto the translation market.

Magdalena is very happy with the opportunity she has had to gain translation work experience. This is a very promising start to what we hope will be a long and rewarding career. Upon hearing that she had been chosen as Translavic’s Translator of the Year 2015 she was extremely honoured. To mark this occasion she has been presented with a beautiful certificate and a voucher which she can use by an online book store.
