Since April of this year, two medical students from the Semmelweis University in Budapest have been working on an outplacement assignment for Translavic. Lívia and Krisztina are following a post-graduate specialist Medical Translator and Interpreter course. Their assignment entails compiling a database of medical terminology in different language combinations based on texts translated by Translavic. One of Translavic’s experienced medical translators will regularly check the trainees’ work. Our senior project manager, Orsolya, a Hungarian native and former university lecturer, will supervise the students and provide feedback. Up until now, she is very enthusiastic about the cooperation with the trainees. Translavic is pleased to be able to contribute to the higher translation education in this way.
