Post-editing of machine-translated text is a professional linguistic service that has gained in popularity in recent years, as a result of the rapid development of machine translation technologies.

The aim of our first course is to train post-editors and help them get ready to add the post-editing of machine translation as a new service to their commercial offering.
The course takers will learn about the various types of machine translation engines and post-editing standards. They will familiarise themselves with the key terms and concepts related to machine translation and post-editing.
The course also presents the method of evaluating the MT output and ensuring the quality of machine translation. Additionally, the participants receive guidelines on how to integrate post-editing into their business and how to approach post-editing assignments.
