Guiding next generation language professionals

On the last day of May, our colleague Ola visited the Institute of English Studies at the University of Wrocław to give a presentation about the job of a translation project manager. Her audience included students of various philologies who came to meet Ola and hear her talk about the nuts and bolts of this profession. During a 2-hour meeting, the students learned the basics of the translation industry and enjoyed insight stories from the world of project management and translations. They asked many good questions and expressed interest in joining this exciting industry – we hope to see them soon among the language professionals! Since Translavic strongly believes in sharing knowledge and educating new talent, the meeting will surely become one in a series.
